About the Head of Trade Marketing Role:
You will play a key role within the country sales team, driving excellence in store (4P) execution across key customers/key accounts for all categories present in the country category/brand portfolio. The role will also focus on building expert knowledge in our key categories and sharing this with the customer in order to build long term partnerships and increase profit and sales.
- Contribute to the development of the country commercial strategy, working with category marketing, customer and category analysis to develop promotional strategies
- Define category trade marketing KPIs across all categories
- Drive excellence in store (4P) execution across key customers/key accounts/channels for all country categories
- Lead focus on in-store categories, strengthening brands, optimising product assortment and promotional strategy
- Lead the country trade marketing team, defining organisational structure, definition of skills and competencies
- Develop category strategies and vision to customers; leads and supports the implementing of promotional strategy across customers, in line with brand priorities and media plans
- Build long-term partnerships with customers in order to drive margins and meet company objectives
- Continuous analysis of the competitive and customer position in country, working together with sales director to develop long-term trade marketing actions and strategies aimed at strengthening RB's position in categories across country portfolio
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university
- At least 10 years' experience within the FMCG industry with combined trade marketing and sales exposure
- Insightful, with strong analytical skills and the ability to consolidate complex information, interpret and develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
- Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
- Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing internal teams
- Must have proven ability to be flexible, multitask and drive key projects in a fast paced, high demand environment
- Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve and takes initiative to handle and resolve issues independently and quickly when faced with obstacles
- Strong sense of urgency with ability to drive business critical projects; can work independently under general direction
